Racquel feels fortunate to have worked on several features, short films, commercials, and music videos as both a producer and assistant director (several of which have been with Jenilyn). Her work has always been driven by a passion for storytelling. Her goal with Meliora is to highlight stories that will spark important conversations towards making the world a better place through the powerful medium of film. Racquel and Jenilyn started Meliora Initiative Incorporated in order to grow their vision into a global charity organization as well as a film studio. She is dedicated to honoring (and hopefully inspiring) filmmakers with whom she shares these passions.
Jenilyn Rodriguez

Jenilyn always dreamed of moving to California to become a serious actress in film. However, she stopped off in NYC, fell in love, and never left. The same thing happened when she started writing and producing her own films – the idea was to create a little content for her acting reels. 11 years later, she has her own production company (Jen X Productions) and has produced and worked on over 38 projects. Now she is beyond thrilled to be running Meliora International Film Festival together with Racquel and Cara!! When Jenilyn isn’t performing or filmmaking, she also works in spirit therapy. With Meliora, she believes that this is the way her worlds can come together as she hopes to make a positive impact with all the work she can.
Cara D’Adamo
Festival Coordinator
Cara D’Adamo is a Brooklyn, New York native artist. From an early age she always had a passion for music and acting. She performed in a group with Atlantic Records, in music videos with Grammy Award Winning Artists, and acted in stage, film, television and nationwide commercials. Right now, Cara is working on multiple projects including photography while running her own production company called Faith Over Fear Studio And Productions. Her goal as an artist and entrepreneur is to create works that inspire, engage and translate through the medium of music and art!
